The story follows Tsunayoshi Sawada, a young kid who learns he is the true heir to the Vongola family, a strong Mafia organization. The Vongolas’ most formidable hitman, Reborn, a gun-toting baby, is dispatched to educate Tsuna on how to be a boss.

The anime may appear to be childish but it has a much serious undertone. The initial episodes can be quite slow, however, once the anime picks up its pace it never slows down. I can easily recommend this anime to any age group.

Food Wars is a comedy-drama anime that was first released in 2015 and is still ongoing. The story of this anime revolves around Soma Yukihira who enrolls at a prestigious culinary school in order to become a full-time chef and outperform his father’s culinary abilities.

The anime has over 80 episodes, spanning over 5 seasons. It is a very lighthearted and easy-to-watch anime. In addition to its sweet storytelling, the anime has amazing visuals that are sure to be a “treat” for your eyes.

Its story focuses on a superhero-loving boy named Izuku Midoriya. He doesn’t have any powers but he is determined to enroll in a prestigious hero academy and learn what it really means to be a hero.

It currently has 88 episodes with more to come. My Hero Academia is a rollercoaster of emotions. It has well-written characters, thought-provoking storylines, and nail-biting action sequences.

Quality-wise, the show is amazing and is becoming increasingly popular with each season.


10. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure

Code Geass follows the exiled prince, Lelouch vi Britannia, who gets the “power of absolute obedience” from a mysterious woman named C.C. He leads a revolt against the sovereignty of the Holy Britannian Empire, leading a series of mecha fights, using this supernatural power known as Geass.

These 50 episodes have some of the best storytelling. The show is a combination of sci-fi, action, and adventure. The visuals are beautiful alongside the loveable characters.

Like any other anime series, Attack On Titan is not perfect, however, it strives for greatness. Moreover, the writers aren’t afraid to take risks and they try to bring the full potential of the story. The show is shaping up to be a modern anime masterpiece.


2. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is probably the shortest anime on this list with about 64 episodes.  Plus, this adaptation should not be confused with the 2004 release. That was also a good adaptation but FMAB is considered superior.

The plot centers around two brothers who are on the lookout for a Philosopher’s Stone. However, an effort to resurrect their deceased mother goes astray, leaving them in physically damaged states.

This anime show is perfect for anyone new to the anime. It is so well-written and full of emotions. The pacing is incredible and the show will give you a burst of emotions. It is highly recommended.

The show follows the life and struggle of Naruto Uzumaki as he tries to become the Hokage of his village. He is joined by various friends who also have the same purpose.

Naruto is the staple of the anime industry. It probably set the stage for many anime to come. It has two main series called Naruto and Naruto: Shippuden. When combined both of these shows will provide you with at least 700 episodes. So, you will never be out of content to watch.
